Our Mission
Sport Psychology Services of Pennsylvania is dedicated to assisting athletes, parents, and coaches to enhance their lives in sports. We assist athletes in achieving high levels of performance while enjoying their sport participation to the fullest. All athletes of any age, ability level or gender are invited to develop the pursuit of excellence and the satisfaction of enhanced performance at Sport Psychology Services of Pennsylvania.
Our Director 
Deborah Sharp Molchan, MS, Licensed Psychologist is the Director of Sport Psychology Services of Pennsylvania. Deborah has worked full-time in private practice since 1991. She has worked in the Mental Health and Substance abuse field since 1980. Deborah is a member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and the Association for Sport Psychology.
In 2006 Deborah worked with the state medalist boys AAA pole vaulter. Since that time she has focused her career on Sport Psychology and developed and recorded "Mental Training for Pole Vaulting" and "Mental Practice for Champion Golf". Deborah provides mental training for athletes at Westminster College - Women's Golf Team and Vertical Assault Pole Vault Club 2007, 2008, and 2009 summer camp held at Moravian College, as well as local high school athletic teams. Deborah is a featured columnist addressing sports psychology issues in The Herald Standard.
Deborah has experience working with amateur and semi-professional golfers, high school football players, cross country and distance runners, pole vaulters, and downhill skiers. Her performance enhancing training is also used for those dealing with the demands of performance, such as public speaking, court room testimony, musicians, persons taking professional licensure exams, and actors and corporate organizations seeking excellence.
